Accountant

Job Description:

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad is seeking a driven and energetic Accountant to join our team in George Town, Penang. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to ensure the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare financial statements and reports 2. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities 3. Reconcile bank statements and accounts 4. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable 5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities 6. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management 7. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations 8. Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation 9. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes 10. Maintain confidentiality of financial information

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2. CPA certification is preferred 3. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience 4. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel 5. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills 6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment 7.
