Accountant

Job Description:

Boustead Holdings Berhad is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team in George Town, Penang. As an Associate Level Accountant with at least 4 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to ensure the financial health of our company.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and tax returns. - Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes. - Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. - Conduct financial audits and assist with external audits as needed. - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. - CPA certification preferred. - 4 years of experience in accounting or finance. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Adaptable and driven personality traits. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
