Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Sunway Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an Associate Level position, the Accounts Payable role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Maintain accurate records of all payments and transactions - Assist in month-end closing procedures - Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues or concerns - Participate in financial audits as needed - Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong negotiation and creativity skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
