Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

S P Setia Berhad is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Remote Accounts Payable professional to join our team in George Town, Penang, MY. This is a part-time position suitable for entry-level individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, independent, possess problem-solving skills, and have the ability to persuade others.

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices in a timely and accurate manner - Verify and reconcile vendor accounts - Assist with month-end closing processes - Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment issues - Prepare and maintain financial reports - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Work closely with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
