Remote Operations Executive - Part-Time

Responsibilities

Class Operations

1. Keep every scheduled class running smoothly for Raj Solutions by monitoring sessions, starting meetings, and coordinating reschedules.
2. Set up and moderate online lessons on platforms like MeetHour and provide basic troubleshooting for access or audio and video issues.
3. Maintain accurate Google Calendar entries and Google Sheets for schedules and attendance.

Stakeholder Communication

1. Be the first point of contact for parents and tutors via WhatsApp and email, answering queries and escalating issues when needed.
2. Coordinate backup tutors and notify families promptly when changes or cancellations occur.

Compliance & Reporting

1. Follow SOPs and keep student and parent data confidential, reporting recurring breaches to management.
2. Prepare simple weekly and monthly reports on class counts, attendance, and flagged issues for the operations team.
3. Attend weekly management meetings and support practical process improvements based on common issues.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

1. No prior experience required paid onboarding and role-specific training are provided.
2. Must be 18 years or older and hold legal working status in the country.
3. Available to work during assigned class times on Malaysia Time Zone (GMT+8).

Hard Skills & Knowledge

1. Full proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
2. Proficiency in Malay, Tamil, or Mandarin is a bonus.
3. Comfortable using Google Calendar, Google Sheets, and video conferencing tools such as MeetHour.
4. Must own a mobile phone and a laptop, iPad, or tablet with a stable internet connection.

Soft Skills & Qualities

1. Clear, patient communicator who can support parents and tutors calmly.
2. Organised with attention to detail and a responsible approach to data privacy.
3. Reliable and self-motivated, able to work remotely with flexible hours and some overlapping schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

1. Fully remote contract role with flexible hours required availability during assigned class times in Malaysia Time Zone (GMT+8).
