Remote Support Specialist

As a Remote Support Specialist at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, you will be responsible for providing technical support to employees working remotely within the company. You will be tasked with troubleshooting technical issues, setting up remote access to company systems, and assisting with any IT-related concerns that may arise.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide remote technical support to employees working off-site. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software. 3. Set up and maintain remote access to company systems. 4. Assist with the installation and configuration of software applications. 5. Collaborate with the IT team to address any network or security concerns. 6. Document and track all support requests and resolutions. 7. Provide training and guidance to employees on remote work best practices. 8. Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and developments.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar technical support role. 2. Hardworking and independent with the ability to work autonomously. 3. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to think creatively to solve problems. 4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 5. Proficiency in remote support tools and software. 6. Knowledge of IT security best practices. 7. Experience with virtual private networks (VPNs) and remote desktop protocols. 8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
