Web Chat Officer - Work from home

Job Description:

UMW Holdings Berhad is seeking a motivated and energetic Web Chat Officer to join our team on a part-time basis in George Town, Penang. This position allows for remote work from home, providing convenience and flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide customer support via web chat, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. 2. Assist with resolving customer issues and escalating complex cases to the appropriate departments. 3. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer questions. 4. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience. 5. Ensure timely response times and follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction. 6. Utilize creativity and problem-solving skills to find solutions to customer issues. 7. Adhere to company policies and guidelines while interacting with customers. 8. Provide feedback on customer trends and common issues to support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service or related role. 2. Energetic and independent personality traits to thrive in a remote work environment. 3. Strong leadership and creativity skills to effectively handle customer interactions. 4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 5. Proficiency in using web chat platforms and customer service tools. 6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 7. Familiarity with the automotive industry is a plus.
