Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Celcom Axiata Berhad is looking for a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. As an Associate Level position, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in communications or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Celcom Axiata Berhad's products, services, and initiatives - Write press releases, blog posts, and other written materials for internal and external use - Manage relationships with media outlets and journalists to secure coverage for the company - Coordinate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms - Monitor and analyze media coverage to identify trends and opportunities for engagement - Assist with crisis communications and issue management as needed

Requirements: - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience in public relations, journalism, or related field - Resilient personality and energetic attitude - Emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
