Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Petronas, a leading oil and gas company, is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This part-time entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are driven, resourceful, and eager to kick start their career in communications.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation - Create content for internal and external communications, including press releases, social media posts, and marketing materials - Coordinate with various departments to ensure messaging is consistent and aligns with company objectives - Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communication activities - Assist in organizing events and PR activities - Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute innovative communication ideas

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think creatively - Willingness to cooperate and collaborate with colleagues - No prior experience required, but internships or relevant coursework is a plus
