Pr Associate

Job Description:

YTL Corporation Berhad is seeking a part-time Public Relations Associate to join our team in George Town, Penang. As an Associate-level PR professional with at least 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of public relations strategies to promote the company's brand and initiatives.

Responsibilities: 1. Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials. 2. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, including journalists and influencers. 3. Coordinate and manage media interviews, press conferences, and other PR events. 4. Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns. 5. Assist in crisis communication efforts and manage reputational risks as needed. 6. Collaborate with marketing, social media, and other teams to ensure a cohesive brand voice. 7. Provide regular updates and reports on PR activities to senior management.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field. 2. Proven experience in a public relations role with a strong track record of successful PR campaigns. 3. Excellent writing and communication skills. 4. Resourceful and hardworking with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. 5. Strong creative skills and the ability to think strategically. 6. Proficiency in planning and project management. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
