Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced PR Associate to join our team at Westports Holdings Berhad in Kuala Lumpur. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for managing public relations activities and building relationships with stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and brand image.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the company's brand and key messages. 2. Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials to the media. 3. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and respond to media inquiries. 4. Organize and manage press conferences, media interviews, and other PR events. 5. Monitor and analyze media coverage and prepare reports on PR activities and results. 6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in messaging and branding. 7. Assist in crisis communication efforts and manage reputational risks. 8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or communications. 3. Excellent communication and writing skills. 4. Strong planning and organizational skills. 5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 6. Experience in people management and team collaboration. 7. Knowledge of media relations and industry trends. 8. Reliable and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
