Job Description:

Sunway Group is looking for a remote Public Relations Associate to join our team in George Town, Penang, MY. This part-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and offers the opportunity to work from home. As an Associate level PR professional, you will be responsible for managing media relations, developing PR strategies, creating content for press releases, managing social media accounts, and conducting outreach to journalists and influencers.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's image and reputation - Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials - Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, journalists, and influencers - Monitor media coverage and analyze results to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns - Identify opportunities for earned media and manage outreach efforts - Help coordinate PR events and press conferences - Assist with crisis communication and reputation management efforts - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR initiatives align with overall business goals - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in PR

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR or related field - Strong writing and communication skills - Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently - Emotional intelligence and leadership qualities - Familiarity with social media and digital marketing - Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
