Business Development Associate

Job Description:

Sime Darby Berhad is seeking a part-time Business Development Associate to join our team in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in business development. We are looking for a confident and motivated individual with excellent presentation skills and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities: - Identify new business opportunities by researching industry trends and market developments - Build and maintain relationships with potential clients through networking and cold calling - Prepare and deliver presentations to key stakeholders - Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote company products and services - Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities - Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets - Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company - Provide support to the business development manager as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field - 1 year of experience in business development or sales - Confident and motivated individual with excellent communication skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of CRM software is a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
