Job Title: Bookkeeper with Client Relations Experience - Latam
Location: Remote (EST Timezone)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 5PM EST
About the Role: This role will be focusing on the Short-Term Rental (STR) Property Manager segment of our business with the goal of providing a great initial experience with our company to new clients and delivering their files to our production team with clean books and a fully functioning software environment.
Our company offers strategic and operational support to property managers in the short-term rental space, including bill pay, owner statements, and trust accounting. The company is seeking an experienced client-facing bookkeeper, who is looking for a new challenge in a flexible, full-time role.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like:
- Lead client engagement during the onboarding phase.
- Request and organize initial financial data from new clients. This typically includes access to the following data: accounting software, banking and credit card data, and other industry-specific software (e.g. Airbnb, VRBO, Stripe).
- Set up and link all banking, credit card, payroll, etc. software inside of clients QBO.
- Configure short-term rental-specific bookkeeping software (VR Platform).
- Cleanup of clients' financial records, which may involve catch-up/clean-up bookkeeping tasks such as refining balance sheets and conducting precise bank account reconciliations.
- Customize recurring weekly and monthly workflows as needed and hand off clients to production staff.
- Recommend improvements and consistencies in the STR bookkeeping workflows across our clients.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented. Loves being in the details to make sure the complete picture is captured.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor is a plus.
- Previous experience with a bookkeeping/accounting firm in a client-facing role.
- Comfortable with technology and learning new software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable leading calls/zoom with new clients.
- Loves a checklist and driving tasks across the finish line.
- Effective communication - able to explain complex concepts in simple, easy-to-follow terms.
- Customer friendliness - enjoy helping others and working collaboratively to reach a solution.
