3rd & 4th Grade Teacher

The elementary teacher will be responsible for teaching a combination 3rd & 4th grade classroom. He/she will also take on routine responsibilities common to all PCS teaching staff, including overseeing recess and lunch, and attending staff meetings, and attending chapel.

Qualifications:

• An enthusiastic, authentic, and vibrant Christian faith
• Theological compatibility with PCS’s Statement of Faith (must agree and sign)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• A passionate commitment to K-12 education
• Demonstrated leadership ability in educational or other non-profit settings
• An ability to command the respect of all the school’s constituencies, especially the students and their parents, the teachers and staff, and the board

Preferred Requirements:

• State teaching license
• At least 3 years teaching experience
• Professional experience in a cross-cultural educational setting

Conversational Spanish is not necessary, but would be an advantage in the community.
