Accountant

PSC Industries is looking for an Accounting Clerk for our Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon, Mexico location.

Responsibilities:

• This position reports to the Accounting Manager in the USA.
• This position will have 2 accounting clerks as direct reports.
• Understanding of the Mexican Accounting Principles.
• Manage/oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for Financial Statement preparation.
• Manage/oversee accounting transactions.
• Manage/oversee the Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable.
• Manage/oversee the Reconciliation of Accounts Payable.
• Manage/oversee the Preparation of Bank Reconciliations
• Coordinate Payroll, Benefit and Profit-Sharing Calculations with 3rd party Payroll provider.

Qualifications:

• VAT Tax knowledge.
• Maquiladora knowledge.
• Be able to travel.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Excel knowledge.
• Accountant degree.
• 1+ year experience in accounting.
