REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5+ years’ experience in the legal field (in-house experience in an international company will be an advantage).
• Comprehensive knowledge of Mexican commercial, tax, corporate, labor, IP law, features of foreign economic activities, and data processing regulations.
• Advanced level of English (both spoken and written).
• Experience in cooperating with foreign clients and/or stakeholders.
• Experience in providing full legal support to legal entities (experience in IT companies will be an advantage).
• Deep understanding of the local IT market and its best practices. Active participation in local IT Law communities will be an advantage.

SCOPE OF DUTIES:

• Provide legal support to Alcor's entities and R&D centers of IT product companies in Mexico and the Latin America region.
• Research and consult foreign stakeholders regarding legislation, legal and court practices of Mexico and other countries in the Latin America region, considering Alcor's business needs and strategic plans.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including IT services agreements, IP assignments, and NDAs with local and foreign counterparties.
• Shape policies and other important documents that will significantly impact Alcor's legal entities in Mexico and the Latin America region.
