- Runs the food and beverage operating strategy that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.
- Ensures integration of departmental goals in game plans
- Creates an atmosphere in all food and beverage areas that meets or exceeds guest expectations
- Hires food & beverage leadership team members who demonstrate strong functional expertise, creativity and entrepreneurial leadership to meet the business needs of the operation
- Control the food and beverage operations
- Monitor the food and beverage operations in line with the procedures determined by the F&B Director, communicatetargets and ensure adoption of these targets.
- Communicate plans and decisions from the DOFB to subordinate employees, implement and ensure implementation of these decisions in the best manner.
- Manage all business and functions of the F&B Department.
- Ensures leadership staff is accountable on their operations.
- Manage operations to ensure the highest quality delivery of food and beverage products and service
- Education/Experience: 4-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience or 2 years work experience in the same position and experience in luxury high-end properties
- Language: Sufficient level of Spanish and English to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
- Skills: High level of Service, Guest experience and creativity
- Customer Orientation: Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to create memorable experiences.
- Experience on service certifications: Forbes, LQA, AAA, etc
- Proactivity: Ability to anticipate guest needs and take action to effectively meet them.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams within the hotel.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to handle unforeseen situations and changes in business needs.
