Chief Digital Officer

The role will be responsible for:

Leading, engaging, and inspiring their team through disruptive transformation, innovation, and business growth.

Define and implement digital strategy to support Zurich growth goals in Mexico.

Strategically manage technology investments - working on the implementation of new technologies while ensuring continuity of current business systems.

Leading and implementing improved IT and data architecture structure as well as data governance policies and processes.

Replace legacy systems with new applications.

Improve connectivity between systems as well as APIs.

Lead the digital transformation and foster a digital, forward-thinking mindset within the Company.

Improve customer journey and experience by implementing practical digital tools that can be deployed across the business.

Elevate the organization's digital culture and offering by raising and promoting best-in-class IT and digital standards/processes as well as a customer-focused orientation.

Improving IT efficiency as well as reducing IT expenses.

Experience & skills:

Strong understanding in the Mexican market especially as related to industry-specific distribution channels.

Proven and demonstrated interpersonal skills.

Clear leadership and people management skills - has built, managed, developed, and coached similar sized teams in the past.

Ability to influence the company at all levels to become more digitally minded as well as form strong relationships at all levels of the organization and across all areas of the company.

Ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment.

Knowledgeable in digitalization with a proven ability to translate business needs/problems into technology solutions.

Expert in business digitalization with a track record of success in leading and running digital transformation in a large organization.

Experience with agile methodology.

Clear communication skills and executive presence.

English and Spanish required .

Target Companies/Industries:

Large, multinational insurance or service organizations.

Technology consulting with insurance client and/or insurance background.
