Analyze logistics data, identify trends, and provide insights and recommendations to optimize delivery processes and enhance overall efficiency. The Logistics Analyst plays a key role in monitoring deliveries, updating databases, identifying and escalating risks, and preparing reports to track performance and drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Next day report creation: Create daily reports on upcoming deliveries and their status for proactive identification of potential issues.
- Lane mapping creation: Develop and maintain mapping of different delivery lanes to optimize routing and efficiency.
- Daily Tier meeting: Attend daily meetings with the logistics team to provide updates on upcoming deliveries, discuss any issues, and coordinate logistics.
- Late/failed investigations: Investigate and analyze late or failed deliveries to identify root causes and propose solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Flight Monitoring: Monitor flights carrying deliveries to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
- Weekly report update: Update weekly reports on delivery performance and provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Adhoc metrics report: Prepare adhoc reports on logistics metrics as requested by management or stakeholders.
- FDA release check: Perform checks to ensure compliance with FDA regulations for released products.
- 3AgestOne Check (US only): Perform checks to ensure compliance with 3AgestOne regulations for deliveries within the US.

- Accuracy and timeliness in creating next day reports.
- Quality of lane mapping creation and optimization.
- Active participation and contribution in daily Tier meetings.
- Thoroughness and effectiveness in conducting late/failed investigations.
- Proactive and efficient flight monitoring.

- Analytical skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights to drive decision-making and process improvement.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including couriers, supply chain teams, and management.
- Time management skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of work.
- Attention to detail: Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry, analysis, and report generation.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, processes, and technologies in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Technology proficiency: Proficient in using logistics software, databases, and tools for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on deliveries. Familiarity with relevant analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
- Continuous improvement mindset: Proactive approach to continuously identify areas for process optimization, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in logistics operations.
