Job Description

As our Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our school and attract new students. You will create engaging content for our website, social media channels, and other marketing materials. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our admissions team to coordinate events and campaigns to boost enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and help the Coordinator to implement comprehensive marketing strategies to attract new students and promote the school's strengths and services to both internal and external audiences.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective parents, the community, feeder schools, and media outlets to enhance the school's visibility and reputation.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a team of marketing and communications professionals, including a Communications Specialist and a Communications Analyst, to ensure the successful execution of marketing and communication initiatives.
• Content Creation and Management: Create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, posters, videos, and social media content, to effectively communicate the school's offerings and engage with target audiences.
• Event Coordination: Help plan and organize various events, such as open houses, promotional events, and community outreach initiatives, to attract new students and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Media Relations and PR: Help develop and execute PR initiatives across digital and offline channels to enhance the school's brand awareness and manage relationships with media outlets for positive coverage.
• Budget Management: Help manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to different initiatives and ensuring that expenditures are within the allocated budget.
• Market Analysis and Planning: Help conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, gather insights into parent needs, and propose innovative marketing strategies to stay ahead of competitors.
• Multilingual Communication: Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing, to engage with diverse stakeholders and ensure clear and accurate communication.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to meet the dynamic needs of the role, including occasional evening and weekend work, and readiness to change between school locations if necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing and communication
• Expert proficiency in English
• University degree in a related field
