Network Security Engineer - TL

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tech Lead, Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead both cloud and on-premise network environments, ensuring the highest standards of network security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of network security and modifications both on AWS cloud and on-premise , ensuring proper security group configuration.
• Oversee and enforce change management policies and procedures during any network changes.
• Administer and manage Linux and Windows environments , including Active Directory, domain controllers, roaming profiles, and domain migrations.
• Implement and maintain logging platforms.
• Administer endpoint devices.
• Support transactional and real-time systems.
• Ensure compliance with PCI standards and support financial services and payment processing systems.
• Conduct general IT audits and PCI compliance audits.
• Manage network and system administration tasks, ensuring high availability of web infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in both cloud and local environments.
• Perform security updates, daily backups, and data loads through automation.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery operations and data backups.
• Coordinate, plan, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and/or experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of network engineering experience , including working with network and wireless devices.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting network security on AWS cloud and on-premise environments.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows administration.
• Hands-on experience with perimeter security, including Layer3 and Layer7 firewalls.
• Familiarity with endpoint administration.
• Experience supporting high availability of web infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure and local endpoint hardware/software.
• Excellent problem-solving and automation skills.
• Strong Unix/Linux/Windows scripting skills.
• Experience with PCI standards and financial services is a plus.
• Network+, IT+, and AWS+ certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with supporting transactional and real-time systems.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining logging platforms.
• Proven experience in a leadership or tech lead role, managing and mentoring a team.
