Job Description:

The Senior Account Executive (SAE) leads execution of PR activities for multiple accounts with the support of the Account Manager and the overall supervision of the Account Director.

The Senior Account Executive is the main point of contact with the client and the media, is responsible for moving projects forward, ensuring deadlines are met and client work is up to standards.

Job responsibilities :

• Plan short, medium, and long-term activities in accordance with account’s priorities.
• Draft media materials, including press releases, fact sheets and statements.
• Review and edit public relations materials to ensure correct brand messaging.
• Respond to media requests.
• Prepare clients for interview, schedule meetings and follow up for coverage.
• Actively contribute to client calls by providing updates and recommendations.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for client engagement in the LatAm and Caribbean regions.
• Support and mentor junior team.
• Develop and manage project budgets.
• Identify opportunities with clients based on current news and trends to elevate clients' visibility and thought leadership positions.

Job Requirements:

Education:

B.S./B.A. in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism, or related field.

Experience :

3 - 4 years of public relations/communications work. Agency experience strongly preferred.

Required Skills:

Excellent writing skills in English and Spanish.

Fully bilingual English/Spanish.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strategic Thinking. Ability to understand clients' business objectives, industry dynamics, and target audiences.

Experience working with media and content development.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with media from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Experience working with remote teams.

Experience working with influencers.

Experience in the travel and/or hospitality industries.

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovation.

Experience working with social media (content creation, measurement, etc)
