Job Description:

The Financial/Business Analyst supports Terex’s Aerial Work Platforms business (AWP) will report to Global FP&A Manager, partnering with central FP&A and multiple finance teams across AWP globally. This role will help monitor, analyze, and report key finance areas inclusive of CapEx, Gross Margin, Backlog, and others. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with process improvement, ability to learn new systems, and strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities  

• Support Global CapEx projects monthly tracking, variance to plan analysis, identify gaps and prepare presentations. 
• Assist the Global commercial team with regional backlog orders reporting and analysis. 
• Provides the Commercial team monthly gross profit and gross margin insights at product level. 
• Support the Global Parts & Services business with monthly rebates and discounts reports. 
• Collaborates with multiple business partners and finance partners on ad-hoc projects and analysis. 
• Analyze Business Processes: Understand and document current business processes and workflows. 

• Identify Opportunities: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains. 
• Project Management: Support projects to implement new processes and systems. 
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and challenges. 
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools. 
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports to management and other stakeholders. Work with NA FP&A team to improve reporting system & accuracy. 

 
Basic Qualifications  

• Education: bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills. 
• Language: Fluency in Spanish and English is required. 
• Technical Skills: 3+ years’ experience working with excel and relevant financial systems: IBM Analytics, Cognos, Hyperion, OneStream, Workday, Oracle. Ability to create dashboards with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik etc.). 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Automation Tools: Experience working with automation tools (VBA Macros, Python, Power Queries). 
• Data Sets: Experienced working with large and complex data sets. 
• Industry Experience: Previous manufacturing experience.
