Birdman's Wharehouse supervisor will be responsible for translating business strategy into operational plans and actions to support company growth. He/She will be accountable for the optimization of resources in order to fulfill market requirements delivering service, quality and on time product.

Birdman's warehouse and logistic supervisor is the owner of the Total warehousing and logistic Operations improvement and oversees the total area while maintains a close relationship with internal and external customers.

As Birdman's supervisor, you will have the opportunity to boost the supply area to pursue excellence: redefining systems, processes, and organizational structure. Your goal as Birdman's warehouse and logistic supervisor will be to assure the premiuem service, high quality and cost effectiveness of our operations aiming for the long-term success of our business by safeguarding the Brand's quality and reputation.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor that is well-versed in all aspects of warehousing and logistic management within the pharmaceutical and/or food industry, from the planning, execution and improvement perspectives.

Our successful candidate has strong analytical thinking and can translate business strategy into actionable plans. We look for candidates with experience not only in supply chain but one that has enough knowledge, experience, and drive to build the logistic and warehouse Department from where we are. • Analyze, evaluate and improve our current processes in order to guarantee service, quality, integrity and innocuity of the product, as well as our internal KPI´s such as OLE, RFT, and cost.
• Develop strategies to increase actual operations efficiency.
• Track and guarantee documental system, including Procedures, instructions, methods and records related with the Quality and storaging of the product.
• Review, track and improve actual process control and indicators related to reduce/ eliminate nonconformities and customer complaints.
• Analyze long term requirements, evaluate resources and develop strategies to guarantee business continuity and growth.

Requirements

• Industrial Engineer, Chemical Engineer, QFB or a related field. Ideally Master's Degree.

• At least 5 years of proven working experience in warehousing and logistic areas in the food, cosmetic, or pharma industry.
• At least 3 years of experience as warehouse or logistic supervisor in the food, cosmetic or pharma industry.
• Experience in FSCC22000 or ISO quality system implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in high-complexity and agile environments.
• Proven experience implementing TPM strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Desired Qualifications (nice-to-haves)

• Master's Degree in Operations, Manufacturing Processes, Logistics.
• Yellow or Black Belt certified.
• Experience working with multicultural teams.
• Previous experience in operations Start ups or fast growing companies.
• APICS certification.
