Schneider Electric is looking for Supply Chain Planning Manager in Apodaca, Nuevo León

Main activities

Oversee a broad scope of the Supply Chain Planning function.
Organize/manage the supply chain planning function for a given entity/product/product range/region.
Advise executive management regarding Supply Chain Planning activities.
Proactive and responsive to guarantee results.

Responsabilities

• 1. Responsible for the management of all aspects related to flow (inbound, outbound and internal) in a plant/DC.
  2. Responsible for the supply chain planning function within the plant/DC/Supply Chain Manager
  3. Planning function within the plant/DC.
  4. Member of the entity's management committee.
  5. Ensure the implementation of industrial policy and develop the necessary skills.
  6. Manage your equipment according to SPS/SIM rules and the plant event cycle.
  7. Be responsible for people management, including goal setting, performance management and competency development, recognition, commitment, well-being.
  10. He/She is responsible for the costs of the logistics department.
  11. Animate the Master Production Plan by analyzing needs and achievements and proposing necessary measures and resources to implement.
  12. Pilot internal and external resources to meet customer needs in terms of on-time delivery.
  13. Lead and improve supplier performance in terms of service level, delivery time and lot size.
  14. Lead and improve plant flow performance by applying SPS principles (queuing, MPH, extraction flow,storage efficiency,…)
  15. Optimize inventories and coverage according to service level and capital used.
  16. Manage ramp up/down and range obsolescence.

This job might be for you if:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
• (+5 years) Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement, in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, inventory management, and distribution.
• Required proficiency in supply chain software SAP.
• Experience in demand planning software (Kinaxis), and inventory management systems (OneMM) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Required experience with direct reports.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to make strategic supply chain decisions.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in supply chain and logistics.
