Database Administrator (SQL Server) - Deadline 25/08/25

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS:

A minimum of 8 years of experience as an ICT Consultant in large scale enterprise environments, tasked with systems administration of mission critical production systems

A minimum of 6 years of experience in Database Administration with sensitive data in complex high-security environments

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Database Administration with the following tools and technologies:

•      Microsoft SQL Server Standard & Enterprise Edition

•      Experience with wide range of versions of the DBMS from v2008 until v2022

•      Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance

•      Business Intelligence: OLAP Cubes (SSAS), ETL (SSIS), Reporting (SSRS, PowerBI)

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Database Administration with the following technologies:

•      Business continuity, High Availability, Disaster Recovery

•      AlwaysOn Availability Groups

Windows Server Failover Clustering

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Database Administration with technologies for:

•      PostgreSQL

•      MariaDB and/or MySQL

•      Associated database administration tools, e.g. pgAdmin, MySqlWorkbench

Experience in Database Administration with the following technologies:

•      MongoDB

•      Cassandra

•      Neo4J

Experience in working with the following technologies:

•      VMWare virtualization

•      Containerization with Kubernetes

Experience in Database Administration with the following technologies:

•      PostgreSQL HA&DR solutions

•      Streaming replication, Patroni, Etcd, HAProxy

Experience in Database Administration with the following technologies for:

•      MariaDB HA&DR solution

•      Galera Clustering, MaxScale

•      Load balancing, data replication, failover
