Job Description

As Manager Engineering at NTS Eindhoven, you directly lead a multidisciplinary engineering team within a high-tech production environment. Your team consists of engineers in NPI, production, supplier quality, and quality assurance. You ensure the optimal deployment of your team on RfQs, projects, and ongoing production, and support where necessary. You are an essential link between customer demand and internal execution.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

• Managing and coaching a team of 16 FTEs;

• Capacity planning and deployment of engineers on various customer projects;

• Sparring partner for project leaders, account managers, and customers;

• Determining the right (engineering) approach for customer inquiries and RfQs;

• Supporting in escalations in production and quality issues;

• Initiating and guiding improvement projects and process optimizations;

• Expanding customer relationships and strengthening customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A completed technical HBO or university education (such as Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics);

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the high-tech manufacturing industry, preferably in the semiconductor or analytical market;

• Demonstrable experience in industrialization/NPI processes;

• Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, APQP, SPC, and assembly and production processes;

• Strong leadership skills and focus on team development;

• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;

• Analytical, structured, and decisive.
