Requirements

• Strong engineering skills in Python, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and unit testing
  


• Hands-on experience in data processing with Python, primarily using Pandas
  


• Solid understanding of REST API integration and data exchange in Python applications
  


• Experience with data orchestrators such as Airflow, Dagster, or Mage.ai
  


• Proficient in SQL and DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation
  


• Familiar with Azure resources including Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, and Azure Databases
  


• Good understanding of Git for version control and Docker for containerized development
  


• Comfortable working in Visual Studio Code, including .devcontainer environments
  


• Ability to develop a basic Python REST API application that: Interacts with a database, Queries and processes data using business logic, Serves responses through API endpoints
  


• Adheres to clean code and best practices, with the ability to justify technical choices
  


• Experience writing unit and integration tests, including: Testing business logic, Testing API endpoints
  


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback
  


• Analyze business problems and propose data-driven or optimization-based solutions
  


• Develop, deploy, and monitor optimization models in production
  


• Improve performance and accuracy of existing data pipelines and models
  


• Conduct ad hoc data analysis to address immediate business needs
