SAP TM Consultant

Requirements

• Participate in and drive SAP TM workshops to gather business requirements and define solutions.
  


• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
  


• Configure, build, test, deploy, and support SAP Transportation Management solutions.
  


• Independently own and manage SAP TM-related tasks while collaborating effectively as part of a larger project team.
  


• Support and collaborate with technical teams in the design and development of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects.
  


• Customize and enhance SAP TM functionalities through extensions and system integrations.
  


• Provide solution guidance aligned with SAP best practices and roadmap.
  


• Maintain awareness of SAP roadmap, innovations, and key differences across S/4HANA version releases.
  


• Guide and mentor junior team members, ensuring task prioritization and adherence to internal documentation standards.
  


• Regularly communicate project status and key updates to Global IT leadership and Finance business stakeholders.
  


• Strong expertise in SAP TM (Transportation Management), including system configuration and business process alignment.
  


• Experience configuring SAP TM elements such as master data, transportation networks, carriers, rates, and relevant logistics processes.
  


• Knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA – both Public and Private Cloud environments.
  


• Proven ability to provide solution direction based on SAP best practices.
  


• Experience integrating SAP TM with 4PL and other SAP and non-SAP systems.
  


• Deep understanding of cross-module integration within the S/4HANA landscape.
  


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
  


• Minimum of two full lifecycle implementations or rollouts in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the Transportation Management area.
  


• Demonstrated proficiency in core S/4HANA business processes and related configurations.
  


• Experience with both greenfield and brownfield implementation methodologies is an advantage.
