• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases within Kubernetes environments using operators.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the high availability and performance of PostgreSQL databases through tools like Patroni.

• Monitor database health using Prometheus and create insightful dashboards in Grafana.

• Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and issues in a timely manner.

• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database queries and performance.

• Utilize version control systems like Git for managing database-related code and configurations.

• Maintain accurate documentation for database configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of database systems and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Familiarity with Kubernetes operators for PostgreSQL deployment.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Understanding of high availability solutions, especially Patroni.
