Accountant - Work from home

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Wercker. This is a full-time remote position based in Utrecht, NL for individuals at the Associate level with at least 3 years of experience in accounting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable - Analyze financial data and provide insights to help management make informed decisions - Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits - Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis - Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred - 3+ years of experience in accounting or related field - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Driven and hardworking personality traits - Presentation and teamwork soft skills
