Online Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

GitLab is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Online Accounts Receivable Associate in our Den Haag, Netherlands office. As an Online Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process for our online platform, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to customers on a timely basis - Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with customers to collect outstanding balances - Reconcile accounts receivable and resolve any discrepancies - Provide support to customers regarding billing inquiries and payment processing - Work closely with the sales team to address any billing issues and ensure timely payment - Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions - Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable - Analyze accounts receivable data and provide reports to management as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial role - Hardworking and resilient with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong people management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and procedures - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with online billing systems is a plus
