Job Description Logistic Service Representative

SABIC offers an exciting opportunity within the Supply Chain department, providing you with a challenging position and a range of responsibilities. Your role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, encompassing various areas such as supply, demand, stock, and transport.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring an uninterrupted logistics execution by actively managing transport capacity, delivery priorities, and planning.
  • Actively having contact with carriers to ensure an optimal delivery performance towards SABICs customers.
  • Analyzing order/shipment interruptions and proactively identifying bottlenecks to initiate improvement actions (e.g., addressing port and transport restrictions to maintain uninterrupted key performance indicators).
  • Implementing financial damage control measures to minimize interruptions for SABIC and its customers.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities, such as optimizing parcel combinations or reducing waiting times/costs.

Complexity of Problem Solving:

  • Managing logistic processes across Strategic Business Units (SBUs) like Polymers/Specialties (commodity/specialty).
  • Overseeing logistics across multiple sites and decentralized supply points, involving different transport modalities, customer segments, service level differentiations, priority setting, and sales offices.
  • Managing optimal supply patterns to customers by leveraging the advantages of different modalities and supply points.
  • Balancing supportive/steering activities and the challenger role in meeting transport-planning requirements.
  • Maintaining a harmonious balance between the interests of multiple stakeholders.
  • Addressing high safety risks associated with road or inter modal transport
  • Operating in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Functie-eisen

Profile: To qualify for this position, SABIC is seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree, a keen interest in supply chain, and excellent English language skills. Familiarity with SAP and knowledge of logistic principles would be advantageous.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Primary

12 x a monthly salary based on experience (between €2500-4000 gross based on job grade/experience)

8.33% holiday pay calculated over 12 monthly salaries

End of year bonus/13th month

Contract form

At least an annual contract, where we aim for a contract for an indefinite period

You always receive a salary during your employment contract

Secondary employment conditions

Pension scheme (pension accrual from day 1)

Annual €3500 net training budget

Net €750 to set up your home workplace

Possibility of a Yacht bonus or, if applicable to our client, an end-of-year bonus or 13th month

Possibility of referral bonuses

25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours

Travel allowance

Hybrid working, including 1 or 2 days a week at home

Good and personal guidance with 1 Yacht contact person, adjustable according to your wishes and needs.
