Clarksons Port Services is an international logistics service provider operating in the offshore energy industry. We provide ship agency services, warehousing, logistics, customs administration support, project services, and helicopter operations for Offshore Energy-related clients.

Depending on your place of residence, your workplace will be at our offices in Den Helder or Eemshaven. As a customs specialist, you will be involved in preparing import and export declarations daily, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for overseeing customs activities, ensuring legal compliance, and facilitating international transactions. Your role is dynamic and involves interaction with warehouse colleagues, transport providers, and clients. Furthermore, you will be in close contact with customs authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Performing daily customs-related tasks in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Applying and advising on the correct procedures for import and export declarations and transit documents, including storage under customs supervision.

• Communicating with clients and other departments within the company about daily customs-related operations.

• Providing support regarding the re-certification of AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) internally and externally.

What we're looking for :

• Got the “Basic Declarant” degree. A “Full Declarant” degree is an absolute advantage.

• Operational experience in customs and logistics.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Dutch and English.

• Organizational skills and the ability to carry out ad-hoc tasks.

What we offer:

• A dynamic role for a minimum of 32 hours per week.

• A full-time (40 hours per week) gross monthly salary, depending on education and experience.

Clarksons Port Services is een internationale logistieke dienstverlener, werkzaam in de offshore energie-industrie. We leveren scheepsagentuurdiensten, warehousing, logistics, ondersteuning in douane administratie, project services en helikopteroperations voor Offshore Energy gerelateerde klanten.

Afhankelijk van jouw woonadres bevindt je werkplek zich in op onze locatie in Den Helder of Eemshaven. Als douanespecialist ben je dagelijks betrokken bij het voorbereiden van import- en exportaangiften, waarbij je voldoet aan de geldende wet- en regelgeving. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het toezicht houden op douaneactiviteiten, het waarborgen van wettelijke naleving en het faciliteren van internationale transacties. Jouw rol is dynamisch en omvat interactie met collega's van het magazijn, vervoersaanbieders en klanten. Je onderhoudt correspondentie met de douane en onderhoudt contact met douanekantoren.

Verantwoordelijkheden :

• Uitvoeren van dagelijkse douane gerelateerde werkzaamheden in overeenstemming met de geldende regels
• Toepassen en adviseren over de juiste stappen voor import- en exportaangiften en transitdocumenten, inclusief opslag onder douanetoezicht.
• Communiceren met klanten en bedrijfsafdelingen over douane gerelateerde dagelijkse operaties.
• Ondersteuning bieden met betrekking tot de her-certificering van AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) intern en extern.

Wat we zoeken:

• We nodigen je van harte uit te solliciteren als je in het bezit bent van: 
• Een diploma Basis Declarant. Diploma Volledig Declarant is een absolute pré. 
• Operationele ervaring in douane en logistiek. 
• Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.
• Organisatorische vaardigheden en in staat bent om ad-hoc opdrachten uit te voeren.

• Een dynamische functie voor minimaal 32 uur per week.
• Een fulltime (40upw) bruto maandsalaris, afhankelijk van opleiding en ervaring.
