Job Description - Online Customer Care Assistant

Job Description:


GitLab, a leading software development company, is looking for a full-time Online Customer Care Assistant to join our team in Utrecht, NL. As an Associate Level position, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to online users through various communication channels, including chat, email, and social media. 2. Assist customers with inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing solutions in a timely manner. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Continuously improve the customer experience by identifying and implementing process improvements. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed responses to customer inquiries. 7. Contribute to creating and updating documentation for online self-service resources.


Requirements: 1. Reliable and adaptable personality traits to effectively handle a variety of customer interactions. 2. Strong emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with customer needs. 3. Excellent planning skills to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. 4. Proven experience in customer service or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch. 6. Proficiency in using customer service software and tools. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 8. Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is preferred.
