Getting the right things done! 

As a Marketing Automation Specialist the following will be part of your major tasks and responsibilities:

• Design and build automated email marketing/communication flows, and email campaigns for new and existing clients;
• Maintain and optimize existing lead nurture flows;
• Translate sales objectives into relevant cross-sell campaigns, brainstorm with colleagues across departments (product, service, compliance, etc.) for fresh marketing and communication content;
• Own the marketing automation strategy for EMS by identifying requirements, and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and the suppliers;
• Measure performance, interpret campaign analytics, create A/B split tests to improve campaign performance;
• Manage complex client data structures from our systems to optimize EMS customer database continuously for improved marketing, communications and sales;
• Work with our BI team to further understand and use customer data for segmentation to create profiles of clients to improve targeting for campaigns and customer journey management;
• Optimize EMS’s communication footprint to create awareness, interest and conversion;
• Perform other associated digital marketing duties such as overseeing the planning of the communication and campaign calendar

You will report to the Director Product and Marketing and work closely together with both the Online Marketeer, Content Marketing Specialist and Customer Experience Manager. The professional team members work closely together and challenge each other on an ongoing basis. EMS offers a dynamic, professional, informal environment and short lines of communication.

What do you need to be successful at our organization? Well, you have to enjoy changing gears quickly and getting your teeth into complex projects. 

In addition, we ask for the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CRM and/or Marketing Automation, or Digital Marketing;
• You are experienced in working with marketing automation software, preferably experience in using Selligent;
• Skilled in creating flows, customer journeys for campaigns and direct email marketing by combining information from different data sources and systems;
• Highly motivated and organized to deliver quality work, and can handle multiple projects by prioritizing and communicating;
• Creative mindset to take ownership and proactive approach in sharing your vision & expertise with others;
• Strongly motivated to optimize and improve our customer experience;
• Ability to work with excel and handling large complex customer data sets, e.g. SQL, CSV, XML is a plus;
• Eager to learn new systems and tools, new topics, etc. to help improve communication;
• Professional level of the English language; Dutch and French would be an asset.
