Finished Vehicle Logistics Coordinator

Lotus Cars Europe B.V. is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus Cars products in the European region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Finished Vehicle Logistics coordinator in the Sales & Product Department to join us in our European HQ based in Amsterdam.

Summary:

Within the Finished Vehicle Logistics team, you’ll be directly responsible for the planning and coordination of all outbound transports from point of entry in Europe to final delivery destination with all potential hubs in between. These locations can be our retailers, event locations, directly to customers, etc. 

You’ll be also responsible for monitoring quality, turnaround times and invoices. You’re always ensuring that these are always up to our standards, and if needed you improve them.

What you'll do:

• Plan and coordinate outbound shipping of finished vehicles with logistics partners using pre-set modes of truck, rail, and ocean.
• Arrange the outbound shipments to meet customer demand promptly.
• Oversee all Finished Vehicle Logistics activities in the Transport Management System.
• Maintain high-quality standards within acceptable timeframes and cost efficiency.
• Process all Transport Orders in the transport management systems.
• Follow up with carriers to ensure up-to-date shipment data.
• Support preparation of logistics documentation for customs and transportation.
• Regularly review transport lanes and rates to optimize solutions for end users.

What you'll bring:

• At least 2 years of experience in , ideally in automotive brand
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally to meet critical deadlines and resolve issues.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
• Strong organizational, numerical, and analytical skills.
• Superior written and verbal communications skills in English
• Technological fluency and ability to operate within internal business systems, CRM tools, MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and very dynamic environment.

Additional Information:

• This role will be working from our Amsterdam office within our flexible working policy
• Frequent travel will be required to visit different entities in Europe. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the Netherlands without VISA sponsorship.
