As the Key Account Manager Global Accounts you are joining one of the most dynamic teams at Booking.com You will be responsible for managing our relationships with some of the largest EMEA based Hotel Groups. The client portfolios will span the EMEA and as such so will your responsibility. Bring your passport and some comfortable shoes.
You will strive to achieve new levels of collaboration with this group of stakeholders by delivering insights via data analysis, account planning, and providing performance advice which will take the partner’s businesses to new heights. You will be working alongside a global team of colleagues who are equal parts passionate and knowledgeable about e-commerce and travel. Together you will uncover and implement opportunities that enhance performance at the properties and delight our customers. Our customer, the traveler, is the reason we do all this after all. You will be a member of a team dedicated to ensuring that our travelers have the best selection, offers and experience when they book with Booking.com.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to establish a strong network internally at Booking.com as well as within our partner organizations. Relying on interpersonal skills, excellent communication capabilities and the proven ability to execute via comprehensive, result focused account plans to achieve success. This full-time position will be based in our Amsterdam office.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Promote Booking.com BV name and its online products and services to Enterprise level partners;
– Implement in depth Account profiles and plans that show understanding of the complexity of the Account;
– Be the relationship builder for various internal and external stakeholders that are involved in the portfolios;
– Train, obtain feedback, monitor and support internal and external stakeholders in handling the portfolios in order to optimize their performance;
– Analyze portfolios on a global level, national level and on local/property level;
– Monitor internal projects by being the main contact person between Booking.com BV and the partners;
– Other special assignments, projects or deliverables as assigned.
Required Skills:
– If you have 5-7 years’ experience in a key account management, strategic account management, or strategic planning/consulting function (preferably working in a global capacity) this may be the role for you;
– Experience working in a Hotel Group, Hospitality REIT, or Hotel Management company headquarters or regional level is a strong plus;
– Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing to just about anyone;
– If you deliver presentations that keep people awake, excite them about the mission and have them leave the room with a clear understanding of the next steps on the road to success this may be the role for you;
– Ability to see the future by reading and interpreting multiple data sources in order to define short/medium/long term goals and how to get there;
– A love of learning new things, an ability to think on your feet and an attitude that embraces change is a must;
– If you are driven, volunteer for new challenges without being asked, and take ownership of your work plus you love a good puzzle this may be the role for you;
– Fluent English speaker and writer;
– Formal university education, hospitality focus is preferred, Master’s Degree a big plus;
– Business travel required;
– Excellent MS Power Point and Excel skills are a must;
– Valid driver’s license is required.
