You work closely with suppliers, partners, and clients to turn their vision into reality and create an unforgettable experience.

What you'll do

As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing events from start to finish.
You will work closely with all sorts of partners, to understand their needs and requirements and then turn these into successful events. You will ensure flawless execution, taking into account all aspects including budgeting, logistics, marketing and communications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Consult with clients to understand their event goals and requirements.

• Prepare detailed event plans, including budgets, timelines and to-do lists.

• Coordinate all aspects of the event such as venue, catering, entertainment, audio-visual equipment, etc.

• Overseeing the execution of the event and ensuring that everything goes according to plan.

• Resolving any problems or complications that might occur during the event.

• Evaluating the performance of the event and collecting feedback from clients and participants.

• Maintaining good relationships with vendors and partners.
  

  Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in event planning and management (even if this was in your college days).

  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).

  • Minimum HBO/college degree level of thought and work.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with event software and tools is an advantage.

  • You are proactive, can switch quickly and are independent.

  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.
