We are here to change the world of accounting and we are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Product Owner to join us in our quest. Do you want to be part of it?

What you will be doing:

We are presently seeking a seasoned, passionate Product Owner to spearhead the development of our Application Programming Interface (SOAP) to REST. As API Product Owner at Yuki, you will be instrumental in the ecosystem expansion of Yuki, building a new high-performing team, and delivering developments tailored to the evolving requirements of our clients and software partners.

As an experienced API Product Owner who values team results, you should be a team-oriented individual who enjoys sharing knowledge as much as acquiring it. Your primary role will be to bridge the gap between the technical and business worlds, defining and delivering API modernization. You are expected to be technically proficient, exceptionally organized, and possess excellent communication skills.

Your key tasks:

  • Discovery : Conduct comprehensive audits of our present API infrastructure. Collaborate with the team on user and market research to understand customer requirements and software partners, utilizing these insights to develop a strategy and roadmap for the modernization of our API offerings.

  • Team Building : Build and lead a cross-functional team consisting of engineers and analysts.

  • Product Development : Define product requirements based on the needs and industrial trends. Create user stories and prioritize the API backlog, working hand-in-hand with the development team to deliver high-quality, modernized API infrastructure and offerings. Oversee the entire process - from concept to deployment.

  • Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary link between the technical team and stakeholders, including internal departments (sales, marketing, customer support), as well as external partners.

  • Metrics and Analysis : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, track user engagement, and make data-driven decisions to enhance the product.

  • Agile Development : Implement Agile methodologies to drive iterative development and facilitate quick responses to changing market demands. Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure efficient and productive team workflows.

What you will bring to the team

  • Experience as a product owner, product manager or similar.

  • An analytical mind and tech-savvy.

  • Knowledge of API integrations

  • Understanding of API marketplaces

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.

  • Experience conducting research, gathering feedback, and utilizing data-driven insights to inform product decisions.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset.

  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English , building relationships is key.

Bonus points for…

  • Experience building connected SaaS platforms

  • An education in Accounting, Finance, or similar

  • Spanish speaking, for our Spanish colleagues
