Job Description

About the role:

As a Market Specialist - Paid Social, you would manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms such as Meta(Facebook/Instagram), SnapChat, TikTok, Pinterest. This role is in the Global Growth Marketing Team which focuses on three categories: 1) relationship management with advertising partners, 2) managing product opportunities and optimizations, and 3) commercial operations. You are responsible for growing paid social media marketing by planning & managing & executing always-on performance campaigns as well as seasonal campaigns/projects.

 

This role requires a strong focus on strategic planning & implementation, the ability to define, coordinate and execute short & long term roadmaps for key initiatives and projects, helping to achieve ambitious performance targets for transaction growth globally, whilst attaining Return on Investment (ROI) targets. 


Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for planning, managing & growing paid social marketing in specific channels or projects by defining and executing on short & long term roadmaps - with a speciality on TikTok
  • Analyze performance data and translate this into strategic opportunities and tactics to drive growth for the business while maintaining ROI
  • Manage the relationship with large advertising partners from across the globe, both for tactical needs and identifying new opportunities
  • Work closely with the analytics and product teams to optimize ad spend towards defined KPIs through experimentation and improvements
  • Take an active role in the team by managing impactful and feasible projects or improvements and driving them forward
  • Combine hands-on with strategic thinking to form scalable solutions
  • Proactively take initiative to increase domain knowledge gaps including in-depth 'how paid social media marketing works', specific partners / accounts as well as strategic and industry understanding
  • Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and recommendations that align with the strategic department goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations and prioritization
  • Conduct regular lines of communication to keep internal & external stakeholders informed regarding the implementation of action plan and / or recommendations concerning the project / area of ownership and competitor knowledge

Qualifications

and Requirements
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in paid social media marketing, digital marketing or a similar role
  • Experience with end-to-end channel management: Tiktok & Meta OR Snapchat
  • Able to combine hands-on with strategic thinking 
  • Track record of delivering innovative solutions in ambiguous situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
  • Solution oriented and result driven
  • Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently as well as working in a team
  • Excellent communication (e.g. public speaking) and commercial skills
  • Strong commercial skills
  • Strong Analytical skills 
  • Ability to multi-task & flexible attitude
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, any other language a plus
