Job Description - Account Director

As an Account Director, you will transform our clients' businesses by creating new opportunities across their digital ecosystems. More than just a manager or consultant, you will foster partnerships to deliver measurable impact. Your deep understanding of their challenges will enable you to drive digital transformation and business results.



Located at Nieuwe Herengracht right in front of the Hortus Botanicus, you will have access to our diverse network of specialists by collaborating across our twelve European studios. You will work in an environment which fosters a meritocratic culture and encourages ownership, and you will be surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields.  



ROLE REQUIREMENTS



  • Strategic Partnerships: Establish collaborative partnerships with key clients to deliver against business objectives.

  • Organic Growth: Identify and nurture growth opportunities through existing client relationships.

  • Presentation Skills: Demonstrate strategic capability when framing client challenges and defining project approaches.

  • Value-Based Outcomes: Ensure all engagements focus on delivering tangible value to the client.

  • Briefing Excellence: Effectively empathise with, synthesise, and communicate client requirements in clear briefings.

  • Service Delivery: Orchestrate optimal delivery and ensure overall client satisfaction.

  • Team Leadership: Motivate and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across studios, disciplines, and partners.

  • Process Improvement: Support continual improvements across the evolving service offering.



 
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS



  • Experience: 5+ years in digital, strategy, or business consulting.

  • Digital Expertise: Thorough knowledge of digital and online marketing communications, with technical experience viewed as a plus.

  • Autonomy: Ability to identify opportunities to enhance a client's business and grow relationships independently.

  • Digital Landscape: A strong understanding of customer experience and digital transformation.

  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to make a measurable difference to an organisation, project, or team.

  • Global Delivery: Experience managing integrated global or regional campaigns involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Business Development: Ability to drive new business opportunities from identification through to conversion.

  • Senior Presentation: Experience presenting autonomously at senior levels.

  • Cultural Fit: A positive and collaborative attitude with a passion for ground-breaking work.
