Job Description - Account Executive

We are looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about engineering software and building strong client relationships in civil and geotechnical fields. If you have a passion for commercialize highly complex technology, this role offers you the opportunity to grow within an innovative and international team.

Responsibilities


As an Account Executive, you’ll proactively hunt and land high-value software contracts for DIANA’s FEA platform across global civil & geotechnical markets. You’ll cold-outreach target accounts, qualify technical fit, and drive full-cycle sales—from discovery call to live FEA demo to closed-won ARR. You’ll own the end-to-end pipeline: building prospect lists, crafting personalized value propositions, and negotiating multi-year subscriptions.



Working within a specialist Solution Sales team, you will collaborate closely with Support Engineering, Customer Success, Product Management, and Sales Executives.



Your main responsibilities are: 



  • Respond to incoming sales leads and technical pre-sales queries.

  • Conduct discovery and introductory meetings with prospects

  • Prepare proposals and presentations.

  • Manage and expand existing client accounts while developing new business opportunities.

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast revenue using CRM tools.

  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and other relevant industry events.



Requirements


The Account Executive we are looking for is both technically skilled and commercially driven.


In addition, you have:



  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s or higher is a plus).

  • A proven track record of at least 3 years in engineering software sales.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and sales skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Experience in the construction and infrastructure market is advantageous.

  • Ability to develop new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

  • A positive, service-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset with attention to detail.

  • A solid understanding of finite element analysis methods and relevant software.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

Total compensation includes base + OTE. The salary for this position will be based on education, skills, experience and ambitions. We also offer an attractive package of secondary benefits.
