Account Manager

Converge Sales Team is looking for an Account Manager based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This role is sales-focused and target-driven. You will be responsible for securing new business, rebuilding underpenetrated and neglected relationships with other accounts and maintaining an excellent level of customer service with current customers.

You will maintain Converge’s market image by adhering to our quality and trade manifest, and remaining up to date on industry trends, market activities, and the competition. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and be a part of a fun and diverse team.

What will you be doing at Converge? 

  • You will be responsible for developing, managing, and creating the relationship between Converge and current customers

  • Identify demand and supply opportunities with clients

  • Research organizations and key stakeholders to find new opportunities

  • Develop quotes, proposals and manage order to invoice process for clients

  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

What are we looking for? 

  • You have a few years of experience in a similar position within sales and/or business development within a relevant sector in Benelux region

  • Can build and develop strategic business relationships

  • You have interacted with high-level stakeholders

  • Strong knowledge of the market, and a good understanding of the added value that an electronics distributor provides to the customer

  • Effective communication and ability to influence people at all levels

  • Prospecting and presentation skills

  • An enthusiastic, positive, and entrepreneurial attitude

  • Bachelor's degree and/or highly successful sales experience in the electronic component sales field

  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus
