Enjins was built from day one to do one thing well: ship AI that works in production. We are a team of AI engineers and entrepreneurs who have been building AI-powered products since before it was the obvious thing to do.

Our clients are leading European startups and scale-ups (primarily in climate, energy, and mobility), typically backed by Private Equity or Venture Capital.

We consider ourselves AI builders first and advisors second. The largest part of our work comes from building production-ready AI and data infrastructure for European tech firms. Because we build, we can also judge.

To date, we have completed over 100 Tech & AI due diligences on AI-native companies across Europe. Not as consultants looking in from the outside, but as engineers who know exactly what production-grade AI looks like under the hood.

That track record, built over years of working shoulder-to-shoulder with portfolio companies and their investors, is what now puts us in a unique position to serve the investors behind them.

The launch of Enjins Investor Services

We have always been close to the investor community. Not by design, but by consequence. When you build AI for the most ambitious European ventures, the firms backing those ventures pay attention.

Now, in the highest-velocity period AI has ever seen, those relationships have matured into something more. PE and VC firms are making increasingly consequential bets on AI-heavy companies, and the gap between what a financial diligence captures and what an engineering one reveals has never been wider.

Enjins Investor Services is our dedicated vertical for Private Equity and Venture Capital. We help investors:

• Make the right call on AI-heavy deals
• Build AI inside their portfolio to drive real value
• Become genuinely AI-native teams themselves, not just AI-aware ones

Become the driving force

This is not a support role. You have the opportunity to co-shape what Enjins Investor Services becomes: its brand, its client relationships, and its reputation across NorthWest Europe's most ambitious investment firms.

You will lead Enjins Investor Services from day one, with direct support of our co-founder/CEO. That means building the brand, running the work, and growing the practice. Here is what that looks like in practice:

• Build the Enjins Investor Services brand: positioning, go-to-market, and reputation
• Execute tech & AI due diligences together with our leading AI engineers for Europe's most promising AI companies
• Build, maintain and expand relationships with Venture Capital and Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies
• Serve as the strategic technical sparring partner on AI for PE firms evaluating and managing investments
• Strategically align the practice build-up with our sector focus on ClimateTech, Energy, and Mobility
• Own our Investor Services product roadmap, from DD automation on the back end to investor-facing value propositions on the front

Do you have what it takes?

There is no single profile we're looking for. We believe this role can succeed from three different starting points. What they all share: serious technical depth and AI understanding, combined with an entrepreneurial and commercial drive.

Profile 1 - CTO / AI Lead (technical leader at a serious startup or scale-up) You have built and led engineering teams, shipped AI products, and understand what good tech looks like from the inside. You're ready to take that lens into a new context, advising and investing in the next generation of builders.

Profile 2 - VC / PE Investor (investor background with strong tech conviction) You have evaluated hundreds of tech companies and have strong opinions on what separates real tech & AI moat from hype. You want to go deeper on the technical side and think along with investors way beyond the financial perspective.

Profile 3 - AI & Strategy Consultant (consulting background with deep AI fluency) You have shaped AI strategies for a range of organisations and know how to translate technical complexity into actionable recommendations. You've also seen real execution of AI projects, way beyond the slidedeck. You now want to leverage your compounded knowledge closer to the real deal making.

Why this role is exceptional right now: AI best practices are being rewritten every few weeks. The person who has seen the widest range of implementations (across stacks, sectors, and stages) holds an asset that no single company can build internally. That breadth is exactly what investors need when the technical landscape shifts faster than their diligence cycles.

In all cases: serious technical understanding is non-negotiable, and 5–12 years of working experience in (a combination of) the above roles is preferred. Quality and relevance of your experience matter more to us than the count of years.

• Compensation: €70K - €105K base salary, depending on experience and fit

• Upside: VSOP participation plus a performance-based bonus
• Path to leadership: Co-own the practice from day one and become fully responsible for the business vertical within 6-18 months
