Job Description - API Developer

As an API Developer, you will develop the integration layer between the customer portal for subsidies and the back -end systems of the client. You work within the established architecture of the project customer portal and use Azure API Management for reliable message exchange. You periodically coordinate with the architecture board and ensure that the solutions implemented are in line with the broader architectural developments within the province. In addition, you ensure thorough documentation of all built components for future management.

Tasks and responsibilities

Developing APIs within Azure API Management for integration between customer portal and back -end systems.
Realizing links with Corsa and SAP, among others.
Working according to the established architectural principles of the project customer portal.
Coordinate with the architecture board of the client.
Documenting all developed components and solutions.
Transfer of knowledge and documentation for the purpose of management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Requirements

At least a completed university bachelor's degree.
Demonstrable experience with the Simplified modeling environment.
Experience with SOAP, REST, React, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Function Apps.
At least 6 years of demonstrable experience with software development for government organizations.
Willingness to work according to the BYOD principle.
Willingness to submit a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
Native or bilingual in Dutch

Advantages

Proven experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience building APIs for a grant customer portal.
Experience in complex IT environments within a provincial organization with multiple back -end systems.
