Job Description - Area Operations Leader

We seek an experienced and dynamic Operations Leader to join our team at Keke’s Breakfast Cafe. As the Area Operations Leader, you will be critical in developing and growing our existing and new markets. With a focus on leadership, and vision, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafes, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer experiences for existing and new markets.

This position must have outstanding communication skills, both in verbal and written forms, to develop strong relationships and implement effective solutions. Must be highly organized and manage multiple priorities, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and Develop Winning Teams:

  • Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Trains, coaches and develops General Managers and Operations Managers, through timely performance and observation feedback and evaluations.
  • Ensures development of Operations Managers within compliance of the management development programs.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and provides feedback to cafe managers and staff members.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of cafe managers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve operational goals.

Brand Reputation Management:

  • Maintains high product quality standards, consistency, and presentation across all cafes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensures the maintenance of a safe and harassment free workplace in all cafes.
  • Promotes KeKe’s outside the restaurant.
  • Monitors and analyzes sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Conducts regular store visits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborates with the marketing department to develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and increase brand awareness.
  • Oversees and optimizes all operational processes, including food preparation, inventory management, customer service, and facility maintenance.
  • Fosters a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with vendors and suppliers and ensures timely delivery of goods and services.

Drive Winning Results:

  • Set performance targets and KPIs, regularly monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, maximize profitability, and expand into new markets.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competition, and best practices, and proactively introduce process improvements and innovation to optimize operations.
  • Identify opportunities for new cafe locations, conduct market research, and collaborate with the executive team to develop growth strategies.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to make informed business decisions.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a multi-location setting.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to think creatively and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including motivating and inspiring a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated financial understanding and experience in managing budgets and cost control.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-driven environment.
  • Must be based in Orlando, Florida
