As an Assistant Controller, you are the linchpin in their financial processes and contribute to their continuous development.
What are you going to do?
As an Assistant Controller, you will contribute to maintaining the financial housekeeping and promoting the growth of the company. You will be involved in various aspects of the financial processes, where you can use and further develop your skills. Your responsibilities include:
• Careful processing and checking of purchase invoices.
• Preparation of several monthly sales invoices.
• Accurate processing of bank transactions.
• Month -end closing, with the corresponding general journal entries.
• Taking care of VAT returns for both the Netherlands and the EU.
• Analysing and reporting financial data.
• Preparation of the financial statements.
• Performing ad -hoc administrative tasks.
Who are you?
As an Assistant Controller in the dynamic world of e -commerce, we are looking for a professional who meets the following criteria:
• Completed associate degree or college education in a financial field (such as accountancy, business economics or finance).
• Several years of experience, preferably in accountancy or within the e -commerce sector.
• Excellent skills in Excel for efficient data analysis.
• Knowledge of Exact Globe (or Exact Online) is an advantage.
• Analytical skills and an eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
