Assistant General Manager

This role is a chance to help shape the day-to-day experience for both customers and team members in a fast-paced café environment. As Assistant General Manager, you will play an important part in maintaining high standards, supporting performance, and helping create a positive, well-run operation that reflects Hagen’s approach to specialty coffee and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support daily café operations and maintain exceptional service standards.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the team throughout each shift.
• Assist the General Manager with sales targets and operational performance.

• 6 months to 1 year of hospitality and/or coffee experience.
• 6 months to 1 year of supervisory or assistant manager experience, including experience leading shifts.
• Experience coaching baristas on shift and handling customer issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Experience supporting a General Manager with team performance.
• Fluent in English.
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
• Full flexibility to work a full-time schedule as needed.
• Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
